Triventricular Hydrocephalus

Triventricular hydrocephalus is a specific type of Hydrocephalus.

Definition

In triventricular hydrocephalus, not all four Cerebral ventricles are affected by hydrocephalus; rather, only the first three ventricles are involved, without involvement of the fourth ventricle[^1].

Etiology

For example, Aqueductal stenosis may be the underlying cause of triventricular hydrocephalus.
