Purpose

Our mission

Clinically relevant neurosurgical knowledge should be available where it is needed: clearly organized, quickly searchable, and without unnecessary barriers.

The project brings together concise definitions, clinical conditions, classifications, landmark publications, calculators, and further resources in one knowledge base. Content is continuously expanded and revised. It is intended for healthcare professionals, learners, and interested readers, but does not replace individual medical advice.

Principles

What we stand for

Six simple principles guide the design and editorial work.

Clinical relevance
The focus is information that supports orientation in everyday neurosurgical practice and can be understood quickly.
Scientific foundation
Classifications, studies, and medical statements are presented with sources and appropriate clinical context.
Clear structure
Short paths, consistent categories, and capable search make even extensive content approachable.
Continuous maintenance
Entries are regularly expanded, clarified, and aligned with the evolving state of knowledge.
Responsibility
Medical information is presented transparently and with clear limits; it is not a substitute for personal treatment.
Open access
This independently operated project makes its knowledge available without registration and on every device. Advertising may help cover running costs; medical content is selected and assessed independently of advertising providers.
