Ventricular system

Last edit by Alaric Steinmetz on

The ventricular system consists of cavities in the brain filled with Cerebrospinal fluid[^1].

Anatomy

The ventricular system of the brain consists of a total of four cerebral ventricles.

These four ventricles are connected to one another through foramina and passages such as the Cerebral aqueduct, forming the ventricular system, which is connected to the central canal. The ventricles are lined with tissue known as Ependyma Choroid plexus of the ventricular system.
