Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an imaging modality that uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to produce high-resolution cross-sectional images. State-of-the-art MRI scanners allow clear and precise visualization of organs, such as the brain, the spine, and the entire musculoskeletal system. This examination method does not use X-rays; the magnetic field used is considered medically safe.
