Intraventricular hemorrhage

Intraventricular hemorrhage is defined as bleeding into the ventricular system. The most common causes of intraventricular hemorrhage are ruptured aneurysms (25%), trauma (25%), hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (19%), and arteriovenous malformations (7%)1.
