The cisterna laminae terminalis is a cerebrospinal fluid-filled Cistern of the brain.
Anatomy
The cisterna laminae terminalis is located between the genu corporis callosi and the superior Chiasmatic surface. The cisterna laminae terminalis is connected to the Cisterna chiasmatica, the Cisterna olfactoria, and the Cisterna pericallosa. In some cases, the cisterna laminae terminalis may be separated from the cisterna chiasmatica by a septum[^1]. The Anterior cerebral artery and the Anterior communicating artery, along with the arteriae centrales anteromediales, course through the cisterna laminae terminalis[^1].
