The term Carotid T refers to the terminal portion of the internal carotid artery, where it bifurcates into the anterior cerebral artery and middle cerebral artery occurs.

Imaging

The Carotid T can be visualized in various imaging modalities, such as CT angiography or MR angiography. The optimal imaging modality for depicting the Carotid T is digital subtraction angiography.
