The rhomboid fossa (rhomboid fossa) is the diamond-shaped floor of the 4th ventriclebrainstem.
Anatomy
The rhomboid fossa is bounded laterally by the cerebellar peduncles, the cuneate tubercle, and the gracile tubercle; its floor is formed by the dorsal surfaces of the Pons and Medulla oblongata.
