Pediculization

Pediculization refers to the surgical procedure of accessing the Vertebral body via a transpedicular approach in order to perform, for example, Vertebroplasty, Kyphoplasty, or Spinal fusion using Pedicle screws.

Procedure

Depending on the equipment available in the operating room, pediculization can be performed using one or two fluoroscopy units[^1].
