Cisternography

Cisternography is an imaging procedure in which, with the help of a suitable contrast agent, images of the cerebral cisterns are produced using computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, scintigraphy or, especially in the past, conventional X-ray.

Indication

With the help of a cisternography, for example cranial CSF fistulas can be visualized.
