A middle cerebral artery bifurcation aneurysm is an Aneurysm located at the bifurcation of the Middle cerebral artery.

Epidemiology

Of all aneurysms of the middle cerebral artery, middle cerebral artery bifurcation aneurysms are the most common, accounting for approximately 83%[^1].

Classification

Depending on the author, middle cerebral artery bifurcation aneurysms can be further divided into 3[^2] to 5[^1] subgroups based on the anatomical configuration of the aneurysm.
