Mean transit time (MTT) is a parameter of cerebral perfusion in CT perfusion. MTT reflects the average time required for blood to perfuse a region of the brain.
Calculation
MTT is calculated from cerebral blood flow (CBF) and cerebral blood volume (CBV) according to the following principle: MTT = CBV / CBF 1.
