Li-Fraumeni syndrome is an autosomal dominant inherited disorder associated with multiple tumors, which often develop at an early age. Tumors considered to be associated with Li-Fraumeni syndrome include soft-tissue sarcomas, breast cancer, bone sarcomas, leukemias, gliomas[^1], Plexus carcinomas[^2], and adrenocortical carcinomas.
Etiology
Mutations in the genes TP53, MDM2, and CHEK2 have been discussed as causes of Li-Fraumeni syndrome[^3].
