The lateral lemniscus is a fiber bundle in the brainstem and part of the auditory pathway.

Anatomy

The lateral lemniscus receives information from the superior olivary nucleus and the cochlear nucleus of the contralateral side. The lateral lemniscus runs as a fiber bundle in a topographic order to the two ventral parts of the inferior colliculi of the tectal plate[^1].
