The Kambin Triangle is an anatomical triangle at the spine.

Historical

Kambin's Triangle was first described by Kambin et al. 1972​ [^1].

Anatomy

The Kambin Triangle is anatomically bordered inferiorly by the lower edge of the vertebral body, medially by the dural sac, and laterally by the exiting nerve root[^3].

Clinical Relevance

The Kambin Triangle can be used as an access point for posterolateral endoscopic approaches to the intervertebral disc as well as for epidural injections​[^2].
