The inferior frontal gyrus is located in the Frontal lobe and lies lateral to the Middle frontal gyrus.
Anatomy
The inferior frontal gyrus is divided into three parts by the ascending ramus and anterior ramus of the lateral sulcus. The pars orbitalis is located most anteriorly, followed by the pars triangularis and pars opercularis.
