The foramen caecum medullae oblongatae is a small, triangular depression of the Medulla oblongata at the dorsal end of the Pons, the pontomedullary junction.

Clinical relevance

In the region of the foramen caecum, numerous perforating branches from the vertebrobasilar circulation enter the Brainstem[^1].
