Crural cistern

The crural cistern is located between the crus cerebri and the parahippocampal gyrus.

Anatomy

Adjacent to the crural cistern are the interpeduncular cistern, the ambient cistern, and the cistern of the lateral fossa. The anterior choroidal artery runs within the crural cistern1.
