The WFNS (World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies) classification is used to grade subarachnoid hemorrhage and was published in 19881.

Grade I 15 Absent
Grade II 13-14 Absent
Grade III 13-14 Present or aphasia
Grade IV 7-12 With or without deficit
Grade V 3-6 With or without deficit
