The Samii classification is used to classify Vestibular schwannomas and was published in 1997[^1].
Classification
Grade | Description |
T1 | Tumor limited to the Internal acoustic meatus. |
T2 | Tumor extends beyond the internal acoustic meatus |
T3a | Tumor fills the cistern of the cerebellopontine angle |
T3b | Tumor reaches the Brainstem without compression |
T4a | Tumor compresses the brainstem |
T4b | Tumor displaces the brainstem and compresses the fourth ventricle |
