A thalamic hemorrhage is an Intracerebral hemorrhage involving the Thalamus.

Etiology

The most common cause of thalamic hemorrhage is a hypertensive crisis[^1].

Imaging

A thalamic hemorrhage can be diagnosed on CT- as well as MRI imaging.
