The superior temporal line is a thin, arched bony ridge on the external surface of the Os parietale and Os frontale. It runs parallel to the inferior temporal line and serves as the attachment site of the temporal fascia.
Relation to anatomical landmarks
The intersection of the superior temporal line with the Sutura coronalis is referred to as the Stephanion.
