The superior cerebellar cistern is located in the posterior cranial fossa on the superior surface of the cerebellar surface.
The superior cerebellar cistern contains branches of the superior cerebellar artery (SCA)[^1] and is adjacent to the cisterna magna and quadrigeminal cistern[^1].
