Ponticulus posticus refers to an anatomical variant in which a narrow bony bridge on the Atlas covers the Sulcus arteriae vertebralis.
Epidemiology
Ponticulus posticus is a common anatomical variant found in approximately 3–15% of the population[^1] [^2] [^3].
