The motor nucleus of the trigeminal nerve is one of the cranial nerve nuclei of the trigeminal nerve.
The neurons of the motor nucleus of the trigeminal nerve are responsible for the innervation of the following chewing muscles:
Masseter muscle
Temporal muscle
Medial pterygoid muscle
Lateral pterygoid muscle.
The motor nucleus of the trigeminal nerve is localized in the pons[^1].
