The maxilla is a paired bone of the facial skeleton.
Anatomy
The maxilla forms the floor of the Orbit, the floor and lateral wall of the nasal cavity, as well as part of the palate and thus the roof of the oral cavity. The maxilla also contains the maxillary sinus.
