Gigli saw

The Gigli saw is a bone saw made of braided steel wire and was formerly used to perform a craniotomy. The Gigli saw consists of two handles and a wire threaded between them that can be detached. The saw allows the bone to be cut from the inside outward, thereby reducing the risk of injury to the brain parenchyma.
