The clinical target volume is referred to in Radiotherapy as the Clinical target volume (CTV) and is defined as a contiguous region that, in addition to the gross tumor volume, includes areas in which proliferating tumor cells are suspected, the so-called area of tumor spread. In patients with a Glioblastoma, the resection cavity is usually irradiated with an additional isotropic margin of 2 cm[^1] [^2].
