The term cerebral lobes refers to the 6 different lobes of the cerebrum.
Anatomy
The telencephalon can be divided into 6 different cerebral lobes[^1]:
Frontal lobe (frontal lobe)
Parietal lobe (parietal lobe)
Occipital lobe (occipital lobe)
Temporal lobe (temporal lobe)
Insular lobe (insula)
Limbic lobe (comprises the medial portions of the frontal, parietal, and temporal lobes and constitutes part of the limbic system)
