The Delalande classification is used to classify hypothalamic hamartomas and was published in 2003[^1].
Classification
Grade | Description |
I | Type I hamartomas have a horizontal implantation surface and laterality to one side is possible. |
II | Type II hamartomas have a vertical implantation surface and may also have intraventricular involvement. |
III | Type III hamartomas are a mixed form of type I and type II |
IV | Type IV hamartomas are giant hamartomas |
