Tuber cinereum

The tuber cinereum is a collection of nerve cells in the Diencephalon.

Anatomy

The tuber cinereum forms the floor of the Hypothalamus. The tuber cinereum continues in a funnel-shaped manner into the Pituitary stalk.

Pathology

The tuber cinereum is a typical site for the occurrence of Hamartomas[^1].
