Suprafacial Triangle

The suprafacial triangle is considered a surgical safe entry zone to the brainstem via the fourth ventricle.

Boundaries

The suprafacial triangle is bounded as follows[^1]:

  • Medial: Fasciculus longitudinalis medialis (MLF)

  • Caudal: Colliculus facialis

  • Lateral: Pedunculus cerebellaris superior & inferior
