Sulcus sinus sigmoidei

The sulcus sinus sigmoidei is a narrow bony groove in the posterior cranial fossa, in which the sigmoid sinus runs.

Anatomy

The sulcus sinus sigmoidei begins at the transition between the Transverse sinus and the sigmoid sinus, where the sulcus sinus transversi continues into the sulcus sinus sigmoidei. The sulcus sinus sigmoidei ends at the Jugular foramen.
