MR perfusion is a specialized technique in MRI imaging that can be used to examine the blood perfusion of brain tissue. The primary role of MR perfusion is the evaluation of ischemic events, neoplasms, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Limitations

MR perfusion is highly susceptible to artifacts that can be caused by foreign materials.
