The middle temporal gyrus is a gyrus of the temporal lobe.
The middle temporal gyrus is separated superiorly from the superior temporal gyrus by the superior temporal sulcus. Inferiorly, the inferior temporal gyrus borders it, separated by the inferior temporal sulcus.
The superior temporal gyrus is supplied by branches of the middle cerebral artery.
