MacCarthy Keyhole

The MacCarthy keyhole is an anatomical landmark that can be used for intraoperative orientation[^1].

Anatomy

The MacCarthy keyhole is located approximately 5-10 mm inferior to the Superior temporal line at the most anterobasal point, but not closer than 5 mm posterior to the Frontozygomatic suture.
