High-Definition Fiber Tractography (HDFT) is a high-resolution representation of nerve fiber bundles using special MRI sequences.

Application

In contrast to DTI, HDFT offers significantly better resolution, allowing not only massive fiber bundles like the optic tract or the motor pathway to be displayed, but even the course of the individual cranial nerves[^1].
