The extended Glasgow Outcome Scale is a modified version of the Glasgow Outcome Scale and is used to classify outcome after a traumatic brain injury[^1].

Lower severe disability

Dependent on others for care.

Upper severe disability

Independent at home.

Lower moderate disability

Independent at home and in the community with mental and/or physical disabilities.

Upper moderate disability

Independent at home and in the community with mental and/or physical disabilities. However, in a better condition than Grade 5.

7

Lower mild disability

Able to resume normal everyday activities. However, with some limitations.

Upper mild disability

No limitations.
