The parietal tuber is a bony prominence on the outer surface of the Os parietale

Clinical relevance

During classic burr-hole trepanation for a pronounced chronic subdural hematoma, the parietal tuber serves as a frequently used anatomical landmark for the parietal burr hole[^1].
