Neuroma

Neuromas are pathological enlargements of nerves that develop as a nerve’s response to trauma and can lead to dysfunction or even complete loss of function of the affected nerve. Depending on the lesion of the affected nerve, the resulting neuroma can be classified as a neuroma-in-continuity or a stump neuroma[^1].
