The lamina cribrosa is part of the ethmoid bone in the anterior cranial fossa.

Anatomy

The lamina cribrosa is part of the Os ethmoidale and is a sieve-like structure between the anterior cranial fossa and the nasal cavity. The nerve fibers of the Olfactory nerve pass through the lamina cribrosa to the Brain.
