The Gyri longi insulae are two gyri of the Lobus insularis.

Anatomy

The Gyri longi insulae are located in the posterior part of the Lobus insularis and are separated from the anterior Gyri breves insulae by the Sulcus centralis insulae[^1]. There are two Gyri longi insulae:

  • Gyrus longus anterior

  • Gyrus longus posterior
