The ganglion gasseri (trigeminal ganglion) is a sensory ganglion that represents the point of division of the Trigeminal nerve into the ophthalmic nerve, maxillary nerve, and mandibular nerve.

Clinical relevance

The ganglion gasseri is of neurosurgical relevance, particularly in Trigeminal neuralgia.
