Frontal nerve

Last edit by Alaric Steinmetz on

The frontal nerve is the largest branch of the ophthalmic nerve (V1), which, in turn, arises from the trigeminal nerve.

Anatomy

The frontal nerve passes through the superior orbital fissure. The frontal nerve divides into the supratrochlear nerve and the supraorbital nerve, which passes through the supraorbital notch[^1].
