Collet-Sicard syndrome is a unilateral paresis of the Glossopharyngeal nerve, Vagus nerve, Accessory nerve, and the Hypoglossal nerve[^1].

Historically

Frederic Collet and Jean Sicard described the syndrome based on post-traumatic cases during the First World War, in which the location of the lesions was demonstrated by X-ray examinations as a result of the presence of metal fragments[^2] [^3].
