Cavernoma

Last edit by Alaric Steinmetz on

A cavernoma or a cavernous malformation is a vascular malformation composed of sinusoidal formations lined only by endothelium. Supratentorial cavernomas are symptomatic in most cases due to seizures. Infratentorial cavernomas, on the other hand, often cause dangerous brainstem lesions when they hemorrhage.
