Canalis condylaris

The Canalis condylaris is a small bony canal in the Os occipitale.

Anatomy

The Canalis condylaris is located bilaterally posterior to the Condylus occipitalis. The occipital emissary vein passes through the Canalis condylaris and may communicate with the Sinus sigmoideus, Sinus occipitalis, and/or the suboccipital venous plexus.
