The artery of Davidoff and Schechter is a tentorial branch of the Posterior cerebral artery.

Anatomy

The artery of Davidoff and Schechter may arise from the P1 or P2 segment of the posterior cerebral artery[^2].

Supply

The artery of Davidoff and Schechter supplies the medial and inferior portions of the Tentorium in hemodynamic balance with the Artery of Bernasconi and Cassinari[^1] [^2].

Clinical relevance

Isolated cases of aneurysms arising from the artery of Davidoff and Schechter have been described in the literature[^2].
