Wartenberg Sign

Last edit by Alaric Steinmetz on

The Wartenberg sign is one of the earliest clinical signs of peripheral entrapment of the Ulnar nerve. It is characterized by abduction of the little finger due to weakness of the third palmar interosseous muscle[^1]. Patients often report that the little finger "gets caught" when reaching into a trouser pocket[^1].
