Raspatory

Last edit by Alaric Steinmetz on

The raspatory is a surgical scraping instrument. Its working end is rounded, tapers to a flat profile, and is sharply beveled. The raspatory can be used to separate soft tissue and muscle attachments from the bone and to detach the periosteum.

Finger raspatory

The finger raspatory is a small raspatory that is particularly well suited for the dissection of finer structures or bone edges.
